CONFERENCE VENUE

Ohrid is a well-known cultural, historic and tourist center. It is known for its beautiful Ohrid Lake - chartered by UNESCO as one of the oldest lakes in Europe and the world. Ohrid is called Jerusalem due to its numerous churches (more then 300). Learning about this town makes one feels like going through the whole history of this biblical country. Through the activity of St. Clement of Ohrid, the first pan-Slavonic University in Europe was situated here. Ohrid is located 160 km from Skopje to the southwest and has its own airport - 10 km away from the city center. It is about 700 m above the sea level. The climate is continental with modest temperatures during the whole year.
