Boussinesq equation is a fourth order nonlinear partial differential equation and this equation represents the dynamics of several physical phenomena. In this work two different families of exact solutions for Boussinesq equation are derived. The Jacobi elliptic functions ansatz method and computer algebraic system are used to generate these new solutions.
