General Policy

Aims & Scope

Journal of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics is a peer-reviewed international journal published since 2014 by the Union of researchers of Macedonia. Between 2016 and 2020 there was discontinuation in the publication of the journal.

Journal of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics appears in one volume with one issue annualy, and is devoted to the publication of original research and survey articles as well as review articles in all areas of computer science, applied, computational and industrial mathematics.

A paper, that intends to be published in the Journal, must be correct, new in the field with original results, nontrivial, and significant.

The submission of the paper implies the author’s assurance that it has not been copyrighted, published, or submitted for publication elsewhere.

Review Process

The journal applies a single-blind peer review approach by at least one reviewer, following the Guidelines set by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics).

Publication Ethics

This journal follows, approves and supports the International Mathematical Union’s Best Current Practices for Journals (2010), the European Mathematical Society Ethics Committee - Code of Practice (2012), and Guidelines set by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics).

Plagiarism

Papers with positive reviewers’ reports, prior acceptance, are checked against plagiarism using the service of iThenticate.

Open Access Policy

This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution.

Copyright

The articles and any associated published materials are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivatives License CC BY-ND 4.0. The CC BY-ND 4.0 license allows anyone to share — to copy and redistribute – the verbatim copy of the material as long as the original author is credited and provided that the article is not altered or modified.

Article Proceeding charges

• The corresponding author of each paper receives a soft copy of the publication (pdf-file by E-mail).
• Article Proceeding charges of 15 Euros per page in standard JCSAM format covers: maintenance of journal’s website with Open Online Access to contents of published issues and to full-text papers; all expenses for handling, reviewing, editing, proofreading, publication, and printing; services to ensure refereeing/indexing and other databases, etc.
